Altereyes is a growing and award-winning game studio based in Hasselt, focused on creating engaging and immersive experiences for players.

We’ve released games across major platforms, including Steam, Meta Quest, Pico, and PlayStation, and continue to explore new ways to reach and grow our audience. Alongside developing our own titles, we also support companies in leveraging gamification to create impactful, interactive solutions.

With strong expertise in virtual and mixed reality, we’re now building the next generation of our games across new platforms, with community and player connection at the core of everything we do.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing and growing our community (Discord, Reddit, socials, etc.)
• Planning and executing content across different platforms
• Running and supporting marketing campaigns
• Working with content creators and influencers
• Helping shape and communicate dev updates (e.g. dev blogs, patch notes)
• Supporting store presence (Steam, platform pages, updates)
• Keeping a close eye on community feedback and sentiment
• Helping organize events, collaborations, and community initiatives
• (Optional) Supporting ad campaigns and performance tracking

Who we’re looking for

• You love games, whether you play casually or deeply follow the industry
• You enjoy being active in online communities and understand how they work
• You’re a strong communicator (written + informal tone is key)
• You’re proactive and take ownership
• You have a good feel for what content works (and what doesn’t)
• You’re organized and can handle multiple things at once
• You’re comfortable working in a fast-moving, creative environment

Nice to have (but not required)

• Experience in community management, social media, or marketing
• Affinity with games or the gaming industry
• Experience with tools like Discord, Reddit, TikTok, etc.
• Basic understanding of ads/performance marketing
• Content creation skills (Canva, Photoshop, video editing, etc.)

We have internship opportunities for students across the organization including animation, art, programming, game design, and marketing. As an AlterEyes intern, you’ll be working on real-life game and business related projects, immersed in our team like any other member. You’ll be armed with everything you need to grow professionally and contribute from day one.  General profile:
